About Us

The Professional Accounting Society (PAS) has been a part of the University of Houston-Downtown’s business community since 1979. We are the premiere business student organization at the Marilyn Davies College of Business with nearly 200 current accounting student members managed completely by volunteer leaders. Our mission is to contribute to the professional development of our members through networking with alumni and accounting professionals. We are passionate about providing our members the opportunity to fine tune their soft skills as well as enhance their knowledge regarding the qualifications needed to become successful and gainfully employed as an accounting professional. Our goal is to empower our members to achieve their educational and career driven desires by encouraging them to know more, do more and be more.
