Greetings PAS Members, and interested members,
Welcome Back From Dallas Students!
The NABA Student Conference took place this past weekend in Dallas, TX and 15 motivated UHD students took advantage of the opportunity! One of the biggest advantages, particularly for UHD students, was the chance to network with companies that typically have not yet recruited on our campus. Companies like PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, KPMG, even Chevron and Dell performed on-site interviews for accounting positions. Job opportunities were so abundant that a mere elevator ride led to a formal interview for many NABA attendees. UHD accounting senior Marvin Keith earned an impressive 5 interviews in just 1 day. Many other UHD students also earned on-the-spot interviews. At the next opportunity, give serious consideration to attending a future student conference so that the same possibilities that the 15 UHD students experienced this past weekend can be yours, too.
